Minimal cost of the projects presented at the “Russian investment forum” in Sochi will be estimated at 50 million rubles

It should be noted that a regular investment forum in Sochi would take place in February 2017. The decision on postponement was taken by the Chairman of the Russian Government. According to the Governor, the new dates of the forum have advantages for Krasnodar region. The Sochi Forum will now open a "business year" in Russia and will be the pioneer among the Russian events of the similar dimension.

- We should maximize the attention towards it and engage the investors. It is necessary to maintain the quality level of the forum that we have raised this year, - noted the head of the region.  

The Governor added that at the forum 2016 the region concluded 250 agreements amounting to 760 billion rubles, as reported by the Press-Service of the regional administration.

- I have repeatedly stated that it is important not to leave them on paper but to implement into specific projects, - underscored Veniamin Kondratyev.

The Vice-Governor Sergey Altukhov informed that all industry-specific agencies have already submitted an offer on property complexes to the Investments’ Department. The investment projects will be generated on their basis. Until February 1, 2017, not less than 10 investment offers should be included into a Unified information system from each municipality.   

According to the manager of the Investments and SME development Department of the region Vasily Shvetz, this year the minimal cost of the projects presented at the investment forum in Sochi will be estimated at 50 million rubles.

- The principle is the same – not the number of projects but rather their quality is important, - accentuated Veniamin Kondratyev. – We do not need projects totally disconnected with the reality, pipe dreams that we will then screen out at the regional level. The projects should be tailored to the needs of the territory, the available communications and so on.
